Hello Argentina !  Hola Argentina !

El 14 de febrero, el  5to grado de HDLA tuvo la maravillosa oportunidad de conversar con sus amigos de la escuela Hermana en Argentina. Ellos estuvieron practicando su Español, y aprendiendo acerca de un pais diferente y una escuela diferente. La video conferencia duró casi una hora; los niños de ambos lados hicieron un monton de preguntas. Ellos estuvieron muy curiosos. Definitivamente una experiencia enriquecedora para todos ellos

On February 14th, the HDLA 5th graders had the wonderful opportunity of talking with their sister school friends in Argentina. They were practicing their Spanish, and learning about a different country and a different school. The video chat lasted almost an hour; the kids from both sides made a lot of questions .They were very curious. Definitely  an enriching experience for all of them.

Pinnacles staff visited 3rd graders for a presentation where they learned about the natural resources in the park and how to become a Junior Ranger.

El tercer grado de HDLA recibio una visita del personal de Pinnacles para una presentacion donde ellos aprendieron  acerca de los recursos naturales del parque, y como llegar a ser Jovenes exploradores.

Some of the kids completed the activities in the booklet, and after reciting the Ranger pledge, they received their certificate of achievement and their patch 

 



 

Algunos de los  niños  completarion las actividades en el folleto , y despues de recitar el juramento de los Jovenes exploradores, ellos recibieron el certificado de reconocimiento y su parche.
